Additional employees may be added to the membership after the application is approved. There is no fee, the additional names are simply added to our communication records and login access to the Member Area of the website will be granted.

As an affiliate association of the National Customs Brokers & Freight Forwarders Association of America [NCBFAA] we adhere to strict guidelines for our regular members. To become a Regular Member of HCBFFA you must provide proof that you are a qualifying business in accordance with our by-laws.

Acknowledgment

(I)(We) hereby make application for Regular Membership in the Houston Customhouse Brokers & Freight Forwarders Association that is restricted to persons, firms or corporations regularly engaged in business as licensed customs brokers and/or licensed international freight forwarders and/or air cargo agents endorsed by Cargo Network Services, an IATA company, and located in District 53, or doing business within the Greater Houston area.

(I)(We) pledge to observe the Code of Ethics of this Association and fully understand and agree that (I)(We) may be censured, suspended, or expelled from the Association if found guilty of practices contrary to the Code of Ethics and/or detrimental to the best interests of the association and/or the professions of Custom Brokers or Freight Forwarders.

Upon receipt of your application and fees followed by a vote from the Board of Directors an official membership certificate will be issued.
