Doneisha Curenton, CBP Regulatory Audit, Assistant Field Director joins us to speak on Antidumping/ Countervailing and Trade Remedy programs such as 301 and 232. How does an Importer or Customs Broker identify potential problem areas and limit risk associated with Imports of products subject to these increased tariffs? Since October 1, 2020, CBP has launched 131 Investigations, conducted over 30 distinct foreign on-site visits or verifications, and identified over $600 million in AD/CVD duties owed to the US Government through EAPA (Enforce & Protect Act) and with new AD/CVD orders being added on a regular basis, how do you make sure your bases are properly covered in the import entry process?
