US Goods/TIB's

Join us for an informative luncheon with Custom & Border Protection’s Cathy Jordan and Dan Saunders on the topic of Temporary Import Bonds (TIB’s),  US Goods and updated Broker 111 Regs.

In November of 2022 CBP issued CSMS# 53992279 regarding additional supplemental bonds to support TIB’s. Are you or your client prepared to provide the additional bonding required? Will the surety require collateral? We will hear CBP speak on this and proper documentation to support closure of a TIB.

US Goods are imported daily but do you have the documentation to support the claim? What documents are required to substantiate the import entry for a US Goods returned shipment?

And lastly, Cathy Jordan and Dan Saunders will update our members on the 19 CFR 111 changes taking place and how that impacts Houston Brokers and Forwarders.

Registration opens at 11:30, lunch will begin at 11:45 and our Guest Speaker will begin shortly after 12.

If you are a member company and will be taking two additional guests from your own company, please add the total number of guests (3) to the ticket field and click add. This will open a box where you can enter the seperate names for each attendee. If you are a member and wish to take 2 guests from a non member company, add the number of tickets to each field ("1" Member ticket) and click add and it will add that single member ticket and then 2 HCBFFA non member ticket and click add and it will open the screen to type additional names of guests.
