CBP Inspections of Cargo

October’s luncheon will feature Houston Port CBP Officials speaking about the process of CBP Inspections of Cargo in accordance with 19 CFR 162.6. During this lunch and learn we will also have representation from each of the 2026 approved Houston CES sites to speak on the types of examinations held at their facility and what their strengths are since there are multiple agencies handling imports through Houston that could inspect cargo and different facilities to handle each. As a part of the discussion as well is what happens beyond 2026 in Houston for CBP inspections.

Registration opens at 11:30, lunch will begin at 11:45 and our Guest Speaker will begin shortly after 12. 

Do you require Customs Broker CE's? This event is approved from NCBFAA Education Institute for 1.5 LCB/CCS/MCS credits.
